Do you know how many free things there are to do at the fair once you come inside? Check out all the things you can enjoy free inside the fairgrounds!
NEW IN 2019! Spelling Bee - Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 2:30pm (approximately). Required participation sign-up will be from 10am-2pm Thursday, August 8, 2019 in the Fair Office. We will take up to 10 participants per level, completion of first grade through adult. Study words will not be provided. No cost to participate! Playing for trophy and bragging rights; all participants will receive a participation ribbon. This is not a sanctioned event, and rules may differ from the National Spelling Bee.
Inspired Painting Party - Come paint a pig (any breed coloring you want!) on a piece of wood -- no experience necessary -- Wednesday, August 7th, starting every 45 minutes from 6-9pm. Stop by the fair office to reserve a space at the table. For adults & children 3rd grade and up. (Children must have parent there.) A flyer will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
Joe Stebbing, Chainsaw Carving. Demonstrations at 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and at 10am, noon, 2pm and 4pm Saturday. There will be an auction of his carvings at 6pm on Saturday.
